too short for rock climbing By climber friend from boston, ma on 07/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: My daughter loves the gramacci original g quick dry long pants for climbing. They are light weight, very comfortable, well constructed for climbing movement, and quick dry. Unfortunately, the shorts only have a 5 inch inseam (which is even shorter than the 6 inches listed in product description). With a harness on, this is far too short for loose fitting shorts. Since these shorts are not particularly attractive and don't work for climbing, I wouldn't recommend them to a friend. Also, the brown is a particularly ugly shade of brown.

By alice from Orlando, Florida on 03/31/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Nice Color, Washes Well Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I kayak and go to the beach a lot and these shorts fit the bill. They are quick dry and comfortable. The only down side is I wish they either had zip pockets or velcro pockets in back and front. They only have two side front pockets.
When I go kayaking or beach, I need a place for keys and money but don't feel comfortable about putting things in these pockets as things would fall out. Otherwise, they are great. I ordered the 4-6 size and they fit fine. I usually wear a size 6.
Different colors different fit!! By Warm in Chico from Chico, CA on 03/24/2009 Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a size 8 and wear these shorts around the house. I love them, they are really comfortable. I ordered a medium in both colors, but the Dark Shadow is too big to wear. I reordered in a small in both colors, the Dark shadow fit perfect, the brown was more snug.
Not as good as the old version By dorothyismyheroine from Cornville, AZ on 03/18/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Nice Color, Versatile, Washes Well Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I LOVED my old Gramicci quick dry shorts but they have worn out. These, sadly, are not as good. One pocket seems to "poof" out. The webbing material is VERY, VERY stiff and takes time and effort to tighten and loosen. Also they've made the leg opening width smaller which means there is some binding when you need to step very high, such as up onto a boulder.
By green goddess from Maine on 03/11/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Versatile, Washes Well Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are practical shorts of good quality construction and light material that I will wear often this summer (still snowing now) while rambling through the woods or working in the garden - even a quick dip in the water - great versatility.
