When camping or backpacking, cotton gets wet and zaps warmth, these wick moisture to keep you dry and toasty.

They are lightweight and substantial at the same time and my husband who is completely comfort driven absolutely loves them. These are full cut and fit higher on the waist--I told my husband he's now wearing granny panties. Ha.

By Smokehole from West Virginia on 03/05/2010 Pros: Comfortable, Good Fit/Support, Soft Best Uses: Athletic, BackpackingHiking, Casual Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought a couple of these for backpacking and canoe camping. Very good for that. Nice wicking and quick drying. Not that sexy, my wife calls them my "Granny Panties" but appearance is not why I purchased them. They felt a little small the first couple of times I wore them. Soon they did stretch a little and were comfortable. I bought a couple more. Haven't had them long enough to tell how durable they are over time.
