Seems good to me, a novice By Bob who Bikes Skis Kayaks from Akron, OH on 08/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Traction, Great Fit, Lightweight, Stays on Cons: Difficult On and Off, Dries Slowly Best Uses: Kayaking, Rafting Describe Yourself: Novice User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've white-water rafted but am new to kayaking. These seem to work well for me, they stay on and protect my feet. They are difficult to put on. They seem well constructed and should last for many trips. Have used them one time.[...]
Use em for whitewater kayaking By Chargingstar from Colorado on 04/23/2009 Describe Yourself: Advanced User Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Fits my 9 1/2 half feet like a glove, and the split toe design feels more natural than the typical bootie shoes out there. The teva logos on the top wore off after 3 trips, which was okay since I think they look better without them. Size up if you plan on wearing booties as well, these things fit snug. I had one of the triangle drains come off on the fifth trip. Still wearing them until I can get a pair of the new Avators.
By Mister B from Hopatcong, NJ on 04/02/2009 Pros: Good design, Great value, Lightweight Cons: Difficult On and Off Best Uses: Kayaking, Rafting Describe Yourself: Recreational User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Truthfully, I didn't get them on to try them out. My 99% shoe size is 11.5, but with fairly thick ankles, I wasn't able to get into these to give a fair evaluation, and 11.5 was the largest available size at the time. They are snug up top, as they should be, just too snug for my big ankles. They look like they'll work great, but you'll have to try them on to see if they fit in the ankle as well as the foot.
By eastmaple from Northeast on 02/03/2009 Cons: Difficult On and Off, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Advanced User Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a very typical size 12 foot, These shoes are almost impossible to get on. The problem is not the size - once on they fit OK though uncomfortable. The problem is they are way to small accross the top of the arch of my foot. A size 13 was a little better, but then the shoe was too long and loose. I sent them back.
