If only they made a fashionable shoe.
Horrible - deteriorated in 3 wearings By cimawr from Baltimore, MD on 06/09/2009 Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I've worn, and loved, Tevas for many years, and was very happy to find this model at such a good price. The first time I put them on, I was even happier - the soft footbed was extremely comfortable, and gave good support while walking my dogs (which included both wading in the creek and running a bit).
However, the next time I wore them, I couldn't seem to get them to sit right on my feet - I kept feeling the soles put pressure on my feet that was distinctly UNcomfortable. I tried all sorts of adjustments, but nothing seemed to help.
The third time I wore them, the effect was even worse - there were lumps under the soles of my feet that made my feet hurt so badly I had to remove the sandals and go barefoot.
Apparently the substance in the soles cannot handle being used FOR THE SANDAL'S purpose - namely both walking and wading.
By AC from Des Moines, IA on 06/08/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Drains well when wet Best Uses: Barbecues, Everyday, Outdoor activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual, Outdoorsy Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes to use for canoeing and other activities where my feet would be wet at times. They are extremely comfortable and they do a great job of draining when wet. HOWEVER, the pair that were sent to me seem to fit differently on each foot. I'm not sure if the sizing got messed up or if it was just a defect.
Something to note: I thought the clip would make it super easy to get these shoes on and off but if you wear them into water with sand (like a lake or river), the sand will get stuck in the clip and make it nearly impossible to get the shoes off. You have to wait until they dry or undo all the velcro and straps - not exactly user friendly.

By MJ from Duluth, MN on 05/31/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable Cons: CAUTION--Beware slippage Best Uses: Barbecues, Beach, Everyday, Travel, Walking Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my 2d review: extremely comfortable sandal that I love, but BEWARE--the sole in the middle of the shoe, under the arch, is hard and slippery. On the sailboat, I nearly pitched off the boat when I stepped onto the toerail, hit that middle part and slipped violently. At home 2 days later, I fell when that part hit the metal bottom of the door and slipped. The rest of the soles are very secure, but DO NOT forget this issue with the middle of the sole. I am active, fit, and flexible, and glad I could recover from these extremely surprising slips. Something I've never experienced with any other shoe or sandal.

She is very sad as these are her first pair and her favorite color.
Nice Shoes - nothing extraordinary By digirl from Pittsburgh, PA on 05/29/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable Cons: Feels a wee bit flimsy, Poor Arch Support Best Uses: Barbecues, Beach Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I actually really like these shoes - it's just that my last pair of hiking sandles (Columbia) were so extraordinary - it's hard to compare. These are nice, very light - almost too light.
