Great casual jacket from Spyder By joemama127 from Texas on 10/14/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Not fuzzy fleece, Not technical Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: First of all, the Spyder Explorer II is NOT a fleece jacket in spite of being listed as one here and elsewhere. I already knew this from trying one on in a retail store so it isn't a problem. It is 100% polyester, but it is smooth faced on both sides..no fuzzy stuff except for the pockets. Even though this jacket has some technical features such as zippered pockets, hem cinch cord, adjustable hood etc.. it is really for casual use more than anything. The cuffs have no velcro or elastic and are very open and wide which is good for everyday use during cool weather since it makes the jacket easy to get on and off. The style is great and the fit is very relaxed. If you're looking for a jacket that you can wear every day that does a decent job keeping you protected from the elements, (and you love Spyder gear) then this is your hoodie.
