By Mamacita from Milwaukee on 03/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great shoes. I found them to be true to size. I wouldn't adjust your sizing when ordering. The rubber on the toe front does come up pretty high so these would really be best for casual wear.
Doesn't fit like my other Merrells By Happy go lucky from Seattle, wa on 03/19/2009 Cons: Narrow, Too Stiff, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I thought I'd give these a try since they looked different and interesting. They do not fit like any Merrell hiking/running shoes for sure. I love my other Merrells, but these are narrow, half a size too small and to small over the top of my foot. (vamp?) Very dissappointing. And, after seeing them in person, they weren't half as interesting as I'd hoped. They do look relatively well made though.
More Merrell Products please! By iliketobike from Royal Oak, MI on 03/18/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Style Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Merrell shoes continue to offer the wider toe-box and do it with style and comfort. The unique designs and craftsmanship are excellent. Sizing never seems to be an issue. Once you determine your size you can reliable buy that size in every shoe they make.
By eshopper from Texas on 03/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The reviewer who advised to order a half size larger is correct. I usually wear 8 1/2 in Merrels, so I ordered a size 9. When I recieved them, I put them bottom-to-bottom with my Merrel 8 1/2 chameleons and they matched up, exactly, heel to toe. The toe box tapers more than most Merrells, so you definately need the half size larger. They are comfortable, though not as cushiony in the soles as jungle mochs but these are more of a street shoe. Very cute and good quality leather. I will be wearing these often.
By Addicted to Merrell from Detroit, Michigan on 03/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I now own 30 pairs of Merrell shoes and this is the first pair that I had to return for a larger size. Normally a size 8 fits perfectly but I couldn't even get my feet in this pair. Toebox is narrow as well so thin socks are a must. I reordered a half size larger than normal and was good to go. As cute as these shoes are, the hastle was worth it.
By Closet Full of Merrells from Big Horn, Wyoming on 02/14/2009 Pros: Durable, Leather lined heel, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shoe is tighter across the metatarsals than any other Merrell I own but I expected that with the elastic gores. Wear a 9 in Merrell shoes and ordered a 9. Overall fit is good. On my feet all day. Merrell sole and construction keep my feet comfortable. The gore seam on the top hits my bunion. Also have arthritis in my big toe joints. The seam placement is not a significant issue for me but would caution buyers with sensitive bunions. Love the leather lined heel because that is what wears out first on my Merrells.
By nancy from phoenix on 02/10/2009 Cons: Arch not right, Irregular Fit Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: bought a half size bigger, but still didn't quite fit comfortably, didn't quite look right, caught between casual and work wearable. Merrell Skynight Shoes-SlipOns (womens) By Shoe addict from Peoria, AZ on 02/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the look of the shoes. They are a bit too big, so will have to wear thick socks with them. The brown leather with the blue stripe is cool, as is the sunburst design on the forefoot. Will wear these shoes out to events, errends etc.
By JJ from Little Rock, AR on 02/04/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very comfortable shoe to wear with jeans. It was a little stiff at first, but loosened up as I wore them. Easy to slip on and off. The footbed supports perfectly and is undoubtedly the best part of the shoe.
By MK from Bozeman, MT on 02/04/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fun looking shoe but tiny for a Merrell. I usually wear a 9 in this brand, and was disappointed these were quite snug. Not a good fit. In fact, pushed on the edges of my toenails...ugh! Otherwise, cute!
