Amazing value at an amazing price!!! By Swim, Bike, Runnin' AZ from Tucson, AZ on 07/21/2009 Pros: Attractive, Comfort, price, Stability Cons: Toe box a wee bit small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Can not beat the price!!! Exact same pair I bought last year at 1/2 the price! Loved 'em at full price and love 'em the same now. Wore this model for 1 full & half marathon and then retire them to walking shoes, etc. The 2140's have a slightly bigger toebox than these so if there is any doubt, go with the newer version. Otherwise, another solid ASICS product.

By Lula from Boulder, CO on 07/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Long-lasting Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been running in this style of shoe for the last 10 years, and have not had any complaints. In fact, running in these shoes seems to keep my knees happier.

By walking woman from MN on 07/14/2009 Pros: Affordable, Durable, Wide toe box Best Uses: Running, Walking Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a difficult time buying shoes that are wide enough & yet still look decent. I bought a pair of these Asics in wide a year ago & didn't want to try to find another pair that fit as well. So, I ordered another pair before they are completely sold out due to being discontinued.
Comfy Kicks for the Neutral Runner By Runnergirl from New Orleans, LA on 07/14/2009 Pros: Cradles Foot, Good cushioning, Lightwieight, Wider outsole, Wider toe box Best Uses: Jogging, Running Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The Asics 2130 is a fantastic shoe. I have a neutral gait and a wider forefoot and these shoes feel like they were custom made for my foot.I purchased two pairs of these in a retail store before I saw them on Sierra Trading Post. The shoe really cradles and cushions your foot while running and they are very lightweight. While these shoes fit me perfectly, I wasn't crazy about the fact that was that I was paying $99+ for a shoe that only lasted for 6-8 weeks of 30-35 miles per week. With Sierra's price and an additional coupon, I was able to purchase two pairs for the price of what I would have paid for one pair elsewhere!
By Hiker Girl from Baker City, Oregon on 07/13/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm hooked on Brooks shoes, but couldn't find the style I liked so I tried these, and I'm glad I did! The price was great, and these shoe are very comfortable. I overpronate when running, so it's tough to find a shoe with good support.
