Comments:
In my opinion, the arm hole is cut too small for the jacket size. In other words, if the jacket fits your body it will be too small and binding under the armpit. If you get a larger size for more room and mobility in the arm, the jacket is too roomy on your body. Traditionally Spyder is true to its size and if you are a particular size in one style, you will be that size in other styles, but that is not the case with this jacket. I adore Spyder, but I am surprised at the high end price of this jacket when it misses the mark on such a basic design feature.

Comments:
I took the advice of Sierra and ordered a larger size than I normally wear as Spyder runs small. I wear an 8-10 and I ordered a 12....beautifully cut and the arm length is perfect (I'm tall, so that's always a problem for me). I probably could have even taken a 14 this jacket runs so small. Anyway -- I love the style and cut...it's fantastic to have an insulated jacket that doesn't look bulky & you can tell that you're female in it!!! The photo doesn't do this jacket justice -- the color is more like a merlot...not the drab burgundy that seems to be pictured online. The jacket is so well thought out -- it even has an arm pocket with a lens cloth for goggles/glasses attached by a little bungy cord! AND - last but not least...the price is unreal! I can't believe the discount for this high quality/high performance beautiful jacket. Can't wait to use it at Vail next week. =)

I have had at least six Spyder jackets over the years and am disappointed that they changed their sizing about 2 years ago, so I can no longer purchase this brand.
