Definitely for overpronaters By Me from KC on 04/28/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Endurance Training, Pavement, Running Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I've seen this shoe advertised as a "mild" stability shoe. I would say it falls in the moderate stability category. I have a nuetral to slightly overpronating gait and this was too much. However, the shoe is well cushioned and relatively lightweight.
By Dean Effer from Mississippi on 04/21/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Pavement, Running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just bought 2 new pair of these shoes to replace the last two pair. They are comfortable and durability was in line with cost.

By wannabefaster from ann arbor, mi on 04/15/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Endurance Training, Pavement, Running Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually wear asics and these fit almost exactly the same. They are so comfortable and lightweight. I have probably only run 30 miles in these shoes so I can not comment on durability but I really like these shoes. They would not be good for cold weather running as they are so breathable.
Brooks Axiom 2 Running Shoes By climberNC from Raleigh,NC on 04/13/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't had the shoe too long but no blisters. I ordered up a 1/2 size and it fits very well. Almost true to size. I need to put more miles on the pair before I can say how they hold up. Very nice so far!
First time purchase of the Axiom 2 By "El Lobo" from Granbury, Texas on 04/13/2009 Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've rated this shoe five stars, even though I have not yet tested it. This is my first Brooks Axiom 2 purchase, but if it's as good as all the other Brooks running/training/walking shoes I have purchased over the years from Sierra Trading Post, these will be great shoes. I've been completely satisfied with ALL of my Brooks shoes. Also, the BEST price/value around.
My flat-footed son loves them! By Aquaman's Mom from Denver, Colorado on 04/10/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flexible, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Longboarding Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am rating thses for my teenage son. After reading other reviews, i ordered a half size larger than he needed and they are perfect! He is a competitive swimmer with flat"flipper"feet. He likes Brooks because they do not cause leg fatigue like his "longboarding shoes" did. The traction on the bottom works well for his needs and he walks straighter with the great arch support.
