I went up a size and they were still tight. They seem to be designed for women with straight hips. I am 5.4 and a half and they were short! That's a little unreasonable... Not a good choice for women with average athletic bodies and who are a normal height.

I washed the pants according to instructions and they did shrink in length so if you are taller than 5'6 you may end up with ankle pants. These pants are very soft, drapes beautifully and even my husband commented on them!

The waist was a bit snug but I think it was more my problem then something wrong with the pants. I was concerned that the fabric might be too thin but it was a perfect weight. I'll try again with a different cut of pants.

The waist band of these pants feels snugger than other H Toad pants of the same size though. I will send them back because I don't like the tightness, but for a different figure they would probably be terrific.
