By IceCyclist from North Dakota on 11/17/2009 Best Uses: Winter bicycling Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for commuting by bike. I can walk around my office and not look like I've just biked in. Not insulated so I'll layer as we get below freezing. Better looking and way more stretch than a shell. Hasn't rained yet so I can't speak to water-resistance. Great price - I'd buy a 2nd in another color if there was one.

By lazzmom from Lake Tahoe on 03/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country, Downhill, Hiking, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Repels dog hair. Great stretch. XS small around waist so I will probably opt for a S. Did not like the velcro coupled with the top snap at the zipper. Love the stretch. If you are tall these will be too short. I am 5'4" and the pant goes to my ankle.
By Andrea from Southern Mass on 03/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Outdoors, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I found the waist a bit larger as other comments mentioned however they are comfortable and lightweight and also offer belt loops which is cool. When I say larger, I mean just an extra inch around the waist, and to be honest it worked out because when I went skiing I ended up wearing long-johns and I had enough room to be comfortable wearing them underneath. I'm a petite 16 and the XL size I bought fit good and not snug- just what I wanted. There are just enough pockets for what you need even though 1 more would have let me bring a little extra, but that's what the jacket is for. I was worried about the length but they ended up being the perfect length especially for snow boots and ski boots. The inseam is longer than I like personally, but I have a short waist so this is nothing new to me. FYI: snap and Velcro the waist prior to wash, my Velcro got stuck on the back inside and I ended up pulling off a little soft inside fabric to get it undone, it says it on the tag specifically to do this and I paid no attention. Enjoy! :)
Knew by fit to give them to a man By Merlina from Hartford, CT on 02/25/2009 Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: With experience using men's equipment, I knew immediately the larger waist and long inseam on these nice pants would fit my husband to a T. Don't know if the proportions are the same in all sizes; I got an extra large to accomodate heavy longjohns. A good addition to his wardrobe after cutting out the ladies tag. :)
