By KNL from Colorado on 05/27/2009 Pros: Dries Quickly, Good Protection from the Sun, Protects hands Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing, Gardening, Yard work Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought one pair for fishing, then another for gardening. Protects my hands while gardening, and also allows for small work. Nice not to have to take off my gloves for handling seeds, or twine, etc. They are comfortable and breathe well and keep my hands warm. They wash and dry easily. Not waterproof, so I got a spare to swap out.
By sam91711 from claremont,ca on 05/25/2009 Pros: Good Protection from the Sun Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing, Saltwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Keeps the back of my hands from sunburn
By Nymphguy from California on 05/20/2009 Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore these once and the seams on one finger came apart. These are inexpensive knock-offs of more expensive gloves. For the price they're a good value if seams remain intact. I wore them for about 24 hrs over 3 days fishing in the sun. I doubt the SPF treatment worked any better than the reflection of the light colored material.
By fcada from loveland, CO on 05/18/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had these gloves before. They did not last as long as I had hoped. However the considering the price I think that they are a value. I bought 2 pair to have a backup when they wear out
By 45fisher from VA on 05/07/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Small is med Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The stiching looks nice but it is poorly done. I just tried them on and the threads frayed with a light tug.
They would be nice if the fit were better and the stitching were improved.
I have small hands and the smalls were more like mediums.
They do the job, but not for very long By the Colonel from Appalachian Trail on 05/05/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Throw a pair of these in with your Frogg Toggs rainsuit. They're light weight and can be carefully washed by hand as well. I use these for backpacking and I'm lucky if the synthetic palms will last a weekend.
