I actually find this smaller version to be more useful.
I really have been happy with Spyderco products in general.

By Distance Jim from Cambridge, MA on 07/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Compact, Durable, Easy To Use, Sharp Blade Best Uses: River Trips, Road Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Time-tested spyderco sheepsfoot blade design is excellent for cutting rope in precarious situations or emergencies. Comfortable handle. Emerson opener feature works very well - the blade seems to jump out of your pocket and snap open when you need it. This feature works well on jeans and light weight nylon shorts. I'm going to practice a bit to make sure I can deploy the knife safely.
