By Bob from Cape Coral, FL. on 09/03/2009 Cons: Broke on second shot, Not shockproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The only thing good was it is bright for the price, but I put it on my big game rifle and at the range and after the second shot I couldn't see anything through the scope. Not worth it at any price

By Woodsman Huey from Omaha NE on 02/15/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: At first inspection this seems a decent scope for what STP has it priced at. Construction & finish are solid enough, eye relief acceptable & the 6x42 is a useful tube for a range of hunting tasks from small varmints to deer. Unfortunately, none of that matters as this scope DOES NOT offer sharp focus nor clear depth of field at infinity. Thus I'll return the scope without even troubling to mount it on a rifle. NRA should be chided for lending its name (and implied approval) to such sub-par accessories.
