It is a nice weight for layering. It is chic and simple and should wear well for many seasons. I liked the black so well I ordered the blue which is an unusual but lovely shade of blue. It does run long in the arms (which is good for me. I am 5'9)

I am 5' 8" and 125 pounds and am happy with the small size. The sweater is definitely fitted all over, which works for me, but other people might find it squeezy and want to order a size up. I was sent (by accident) a Medium initially, and the length was definitely longer on the larger size, but it was adequately long in the Small.

Oops--Correction: In my previous review I referred to this top as primarily silk. It actually is mostly viscose, not silk. But it does have a silky feel and look.

However, it is cut very tight across the bust. I am size 8, 36B, and I had to return Medium for Large, which fits perfectly. Even the Large is a slim fit on me.
Also, the sleeves need to be rolled up because they are so very long, but I like the way they look. They are so finely finished on the seam that it is no issue.
This turtleneck is the perfect lighter weight for the first chilly weather or for layering. Because it is silk, it can be used for active sports.
Order at least one size larger than you normally would, and if you are between sizes, order two sizes up as I did. You will like the quality.

I ordered this in both sizes and the small was the one for me. So, my estimation is that this runs a little bit big - if you want it to fit snuggly, order a size smaller than you might typically order. The sweater is cut to be fitted, so in the larger size, it just looked ill fitting.
Warm, soft, and very comfortable.

This turtleneck fits my long, tall frame nicely. It's warmer than cotton and not suffocating like wool. Now I can be comfortable and warm AND look sharp when I take my dog hiking! You should go up if you're in between sizes.

I found the fit to be too figure-hugging for me. I ordered the carob color but it wasn't what I expected. It was a deep red-brown instead of the warm medium brown I was looking for.
