Cute, multifunction jacket By Knitter in Calif from Bay Area, CA on 10/19/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice, light jacket - good for a damp day when you want to go for a walk or hike. It's not tailored enough for work, unless you're in a business casual office. I was going to return it but then the weather was just perfect for it - now it's in my closet!
By Jan from Benicia, Ca. on 09/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather, Windy day Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in a windy area, but it's easy to dress too warm. This jacket is just right, protects me from the wind but does not make me too hot while exercising.
By Dee from Chicago,IL on 09/16/2009 Cons: Poor Craftsmanship, Poor Fit, Restricts Movement Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Returned the jacket, Did not like it at all.
By Liz from San Diego, CA on 09/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This a well made jacket, with a feminine cut and is long enough for my 5'9" height. I usually wear a 10 or 12 and the 10 fit fine with enough room to layer a sweater underneath. The hood has ample room and the elastic cinchers stay in place. The collar does zip up enough to protect your face from the wind (great for riding in our friend's jeep on the freeway- what's with the missing doors around town?)The jacket does well in a light rainstorm but probably wouldn't keep you dry in a torrential downpour. The zippers are water resistant. The material is lighter weight than most other soft shell jackets- it is not the rubbery wetsuit-like material that many are made of but more of a stretch weave. This is a great jacket to wear around town or camping in spring/summer. Lole makes beautiful products and this jacket is a winner!
This is a really good shaped jacket By Judi the mature golfer from Western Australia on 07/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a really close fitting jacket. So make sure you get the correct size for your comfort.
I like the close fit but could see that more mature ladies would feel better in a size bigger.
Great jacket for the Price. By Kel from Colorado Springs, CO on 07/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really am pleased with this jacket. It is light weight but that is what I wanted. It has a flattering fit.
lightweight summer jacket for long arms By Jane from Indiana on 07/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i think this will update a previous review about this jacket... I got it too large and reordered for my regular size 12 jacket... It fits well in the shoulders and is the proper length in the sleeves... I have long arms, though and that's why I like the lole products. Most important, you need to know that this is a super lightweight jacket, not a soft shell as I would envision it... I thought originally I was ordering a fall/winter jacket, but it is clearly a summer jacket. Not much style, just a simple "go over" with cropped pants, etc... Fine for that.
Very flattering, would buy again By mimo8959 from London, Ontario on 06/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this shell to wear over a T-shirt or tank on cooler casual days to run errands, pick up the kids, etc. but didn't want the run of the mill boxy looking shells. This jacket is so stylish and nicely tailored, definitely a keeper. Great length, sleeves are a wee bit long.
Useful Lightweight Jacket By EmeraldGlitter from Portland, OR on 06/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stretch Fabric, Unlined but room4 layers Cons: Order size larger, Poor Fit Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good product, needed to order size larger and sleeves are too long. Nice and light. Unlined. Some room for under layers though not a lot.
Lole Jacket - too thin for a soft shell By twa from Carthage, NC on 06/17/2009 Pros: Great feminine cut, Stylish Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted a true "soft shell" jacket for a trip to Argentina in the winter (temps from 40-60 degrees F). It was much too thin for that. My 21 yr old daughter liked it and took it back to college for chilly and wet weather, she liked the cut and didn't mind that it was very thin.
