By skookumchick from Mount Vernon, Wa on 10/06/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: this jacket made me look like "my favorite martian" - there's not much shape to it, and that long straight zippered front needed some relief - other than the little white accent tabs at the waist, which looked ridiculous (and gratuitous, like an afterthought). I can see that it would be hard to take big steps in it (it's tight at the bottom) but it does unzip from the bottom up. Also, I prefer pockets that have an actual purpose, like keeping my hands warm.

I bought the size 6 for my Mom who is 5ft 108lbs, and it fits her perfect. This is a very fitted, lightweight, warm jacket, and will allow only for a very thin layer underneath. The lenght is great - it comes down to just above the knees for a very petite woman like my Mom. The two-way zipper makes it easy to unzip the bottom for more comfort when walking or sitting down. I love love love this jacket and would have bought one for myself if they had it in size 2!
