I'm happy with it's performance. By Thomas the traveler from Iowa on 05/28/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, High Quality Describe Yourself: Career, Comfort-Oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I travel for work and will be flying a lot in the near future. Victorinox Swiss Army luggage was rated highly, so I thought for the cost of the Navigator series I'd take the gamble. After the first around trip through the airport I am happy. I was told by the airline that it would work as a carry on. I did check it because of the long lay over. I was easy to spot at the luggage pickup.
Handle broke after two uses!!! By Kaatskills Kate from New York town and country on 05/06/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Made in China, take your chances. My second review of this product. Earlier, I recommended the weight and ease of motion. But...side handle came off as I was lifting suitcase from car trunk second time I used this piece.. no quality control in China! My husband was able to fix, but ... he discovered that all screws were loose, on each fastening in this suitcase . Don't bother. Save your money or buy American.
By wichita lawyer from ks. on 04/22/2009 Pros: Good Capacity, High Quality Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: STP & Victorinox a great combo! 22" is really 23.5"! Won't fit in overhead bin. The front pockets only access from outside, awkward. Those niggles aside, well-made, lightweight, great big wheels, best handle in business. STP is the best on the web. Great [...], sales staff, prices. This case is going back.
By Kaatskills Kate from Town and country, NYC on 04/15/2009 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: No features. I like different-sized zip pockets on the front of a suitcase to keep things handy (sunglasses, newspaper, etc) Just one deep exterior pocket on this model, not suitable for organizing stuff you need onboard. Interior is a big box, no side pockets to hold smaller items. Only straps to keep things in place. That said, it's ultra-lightweight, and handles really well. Built for ease and speed, not a stylish piece. Bought to replace 2004 Victorinox, retractable bar broke, can't be fixed -- made in China, take your chances! Recommended if you do a lot of schlepping and need a light manageable piece. Not worth full price.
