Great shirt, terrible sizing By Clothes Horse from Seattle on 11/15/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality Cons: Medium fits like a small Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Quality oriented, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the shirt, but to get it to work I had to order one size larger. So now, even through I always wear a medium, I've ordered this in large to get a reasonable fit. The sleeves are a tad long, but I'll survive. Martin Gordon makes nice shirts -- except for never knowing if they will be true to size. Why is that so hard to do?
By ole miss teacher from Oxford, MS on 11/03/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, High Quality Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought three. Black, fudge, and a dark blue. I like them all, but the fudge is gorgeous over black. I have been uniformly happy with the quality and fit of these martin gordon shirts. The feel of the fabric is yummy soft. The dye gives is just a tiny tiny distressed quality. Very nice. Dress it up or dress it down.
Nice shirt but a full size too small By Ingmar53 from Washington, DC on 09/22/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice lightweight shirt in appealing colors, but hard to know what size to order. Mine was at least a full size too small.
By Bargain Brian from Philadelphia on 09/19/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, High Quality Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Well made. Comfortable. Good with jeans or slacks. Tight fit - get next size up if you are between sizes or wearing over a t-shirt.
Nice shirt but runs way small By Ingmar53 from Washington, DC on 09/15/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, High Quality Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the style and quality of these Martin Gordon shirts but had to return two because they run a full size too small.
Great except they gap between buttons By Pukkah from Toronto Ontario on 05/16/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Two negatives:
1: The Canadian customs duty for two shirts = the cost of 1 shirt and I bought 4!
2: They gap between the buttons
