By dogmama from seatle, WA on 10/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: was looking for a lightweight waterproof jacket to wear on wet mornings walking dogs in the woods, at a reasonable cost. This seems to fit the bill. I like the length. others stop before your hips and then the water drips onto yoru butt and pants. not to logical.
By Bonnie & G.W. from Flint Hills, KS on 09/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Needed a jacket with a little warmth but not too much. Really cuts wind and rain. Not too heavy either. If you have ever worn a Med., order a large. I don't like things to fit too snug and a med. would have. I usually can wear a med. or even a large small but got a Large and it's perfect, alone or with a lite vest or sweatshit on underneath. Love it!
By Rhia from Tromsoe, Norway on 08/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Short, slightly fitted, very light-weight and packable jacket with nice style and a bit of stretch. There are no extras—just hand-warmer pockets. No vents or inside pockets. Stops wind and at least light rain; haven't tried it in heavy rain. Exactly what I wanted for combination travel (city/country), primarily in temperatures above 45 F. I'm ca size 10; Large fits over a t-shirt plus a light-weight hoodie.
By liseV from brooklyn on 08/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The jacket was stylish but I wanted more technical features like venting stash pockets. It was also cropped and too short to provide the type of coverage I wanted for working out. Good for casual use
By Fancy Fiddler from Seattle, WA on 08/08/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket runs small so order 1 size up. Used it for a trip to Europe that involved city visits as well as hiking. I would not use it for mountain backpacking--a bit too bulky--but perfect for times when need excellent rain protection on the trail as well as stylish enough to wear in wet weather in the city.
By Happy roamer from upstate NY on 07/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just got the jacket so don't know about the tech aspect but I trust the previous reviewers. I do know that I haven't found a jacket as stylish as this for wet protection and that is what I wanted for travel. It is fitted and the blue is beautiful. Very nicely constructed and I can fit a l/s shirt and lightweight polar fleece under it and not look like a marhmallow.
A great jacket for overseas hiking/touri By Dancing fiddler. from Seattle, WA on 06/24/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, City sightseeing, Hiking, Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like Go-lite products and this jacket was a sweet find. 1 week hiking and touring Switzerland followed by 2 weeks hiking the Cornish footpath, this jacket was perfect for rain, wind as well as city conditions being fairly stylish. Not quite as compact for backcountry backpacking but for 3 weeks I only had a small (Go-lite) backpack and everything including jacket fit.
By Woman who runs from Durango, CO on 05/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Good Weight, Nice fitting hood, Stylish Best Uses: Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just wore this jacket out for an hour and a half run in a steady rain at 45 degrees. I came home comfortable and dry. It is a bit on the small side. I am usually extra-small and ordered extra-small. It fits, but is not big enough to layer over anything bulky. So if svelte is not what you're after, go up a size.
By Colorado Gal from Colorado on 04/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight hood Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually wear a medium, but ordered a large and I'm glad I did. I can easily fit a micro fleece top/jacket underneath to keep warmer since this is a light jacket. I was looking for something waterproof with a hood and lightweight for spring, summer, fall hiking and this will work out great!
