By Mary from Michigan on 10/19/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports, Wet Weather Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear it when riding my bike (which is every day). The hot pink color stands out well on the road. When I get off the bike,I fold it up very small and stick it inside my helmet, along with my gloves, to carry. When the temperature drops, I will wear another layer, such as a fleece sweater, underneath it. It should serve me well most of the winter. The zipper is difficult sometimes, especially towards the neck, because the very thinness of the material makes it easy to be caught in the zipper thread. Otherwise, it is a pleasure to wear it.
great product, I recommend it! By Eleonore from Bloomingtin, IN on 10/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable Best Uses: Extreme Conditions, Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for casual wear as well as for hiking and running. A jacket can't get lighter than this.
By TM from Washington on 10/05/2009 Pros: Awesome color, Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish Cons: A bit too big in shoulder, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great in the rain. Keeps you dry but is not clammy and hot inside. Be careful not to rip it, cause the material is really thin.
By mongoose from backcountry, USA on 10/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a wilderness guide and love the light weight, the simplicity, the ventilation when needed, and mostly- its a raincoat and it does what a raincoat is supposed to do. It keeps me very dry. Water beads up and runs off no probs. No complaints here folks. Golite hasn't let me down yet.

By KD from Leavenworth, WA on 09/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted a lightweight, waterproof jacket that I could put in my pack in case of cold wind or rain. This jacket fits the bill perfectly, plus I think it's very nice looking. I think it will also make a great cross-country ski jacket.

Very packable and breathable. Can wear on its own in the summer or over a fleece in the winter.
By hikerbee from New England on 07/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Great Fit Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't had the chance to wear it hiking, so I'm not sure about breathability yet. I have worn it in downpours and it is very waterproof and dries quickly. I am very small and have a really hard time finding a good fitting jacket and this XS is perfect in that regard. I thought the inside coating would feel slick against bare skin, the way so many waterproof jacket do, but so far so good. The hood is nice and not floppy. I think the only thing I would say is that the pit zips are a bit strange. Rather than zipping all the way down, they unzip half-way to a little below the armpit (the rest of the ventilation comes from the pocket zippers). I will be interested to see whether that becomes irritating when hiking. And all the zippers are tight.
I am very, very picky, but all in all I think this is just what I was looking for- good fit, very lightweight, very well made.

Heavy duty, warm, and rainproof. Sizes run smaller than expected, so keep that in mind when ordering.
