Heavy duty, warm, and rainproof. Sizes run smaller than expected, so keep that in mind when ordering.
By hard to please from gainesville fl on 06/20/2009 Pros: Adjusts well, Comfortable, Good Weight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: after searching far and wide for a waterproof that met all my desires (and not finding one), i did decide on the golite phantom. it doesnt have a small front pocket, an inside pocket, wasnt avaiable in fabulous colors, but I must say it does its job well. i am very happy with the purchase after all, it has kept me totally dry and protects from the chill of wind very well; the fit is not bad, it is not restricting in any way and was well designed with a range of outdoor activities in mind. all without being baggy.
By Fair weather hiker from Moscow, ID on 05/14/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: One of my best purchases yet. I have never owned a jacket that is this light. It is the perfect hiking companion. The pit zips are great when the weather gets really hot and you are stuck hiking in the rain. The jacket also is not stiff as some waterproof ones can be. I would have liked to have more pockets, but I would have bought it regardless. I know I will get a lot of use out of it and will always carry in my backpack.
By LM from Fingerlakes on 03/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight Best Uses: Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great fit and looks good. It's comfortable and waterproof too! It does make those swishing noises when you run. Pockets don't really lend themselves hand warming.
By njannapolis from annapolis, md on 03/24/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted a very lightweight breathable rain jacket that looked good. This one does. But I had to return the first one - it seemed to run small. The zippers don't glide easily -- my only complaint. Otherwise, just what I wanted.

The sleeves have very long pit zips that allow for ample ventilation. It is light weight. Perfect for high energy sports in wet conditions.
