By Middle Aged Man from Western New York on 11/03/2009 Pros: Good Value, Lightweight Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They feel a little wider than expected. They are a LOT shinier than I anticipated (silver as opposed to gray). Otherwise they are what I was hoping for: lightweight, apparently durable shoes for leisure and light athletic use.
By Coach Larry from Ohio on 10/28/2009 Pros: Great Cushion, Light, Low Price Best Uses: General Workout, Running Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great shoes, especially if you can get them on sale for under $50. I bought a second pair to keep at work for the lunchtime workouts. These have a really good insole, lace up nicely.
Just purchased my seond and third pair! By opgman from Chicago, IL on 10/22/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Excellent shoe for the money!
By Appleumpkim from NY on 10/06/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great pair of shoes. This is actually the second set ive purchased.
I would buy this product again By T.J. from Springfield, MO. on 10/05/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these shoes for runing and everyday use. They are made in the USA which I really liked. Comfortable and a good deal from Sierra Trading Post.
By daycare Mom from Denver, CO on 09/20/2009 Best Uses: 13 year old wear and tear, Running Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My son loves these shoes. We usually have to buy heel cushion thingies for all his shoes, but not necessary in these. Great cushion in them and he has no complaints. Uses them for everyday use and running.
Helpful for under pronators By Rick the bargain hunter from St. Louis on 09/10/2009 Pros: Fits Well, Lightweight Cons: Not for serious runner, Upper support is wobbly Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It is hard to find a shoe for under pronation. This is specifically built for that and has room for a high instep. Bottom construction of the shoe is well made.
By ScottyM from Raleigh, NC on 07/27/2009 Cons: Limited stability, NO SUPPORT Best Uses: Lightweight walking Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Really disappointed in these shoes. Some of the previous comments made it seem like these were quality. They aren't if you're even a remotely competitive runner (2-3 miles a week and up). No support, no stability at all. They're lightweight and made to feel like it. Though construction isn't up to par with NB standards -- lightweight here means low-end.
By walkin' and wearin' from Dayton, OH on 07/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Made in the USA, price, Stretchy forefoot Cons: Colors not my favorite Best Uses: I don't run in these, I wear sneakers to work Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear sneakers all day, at work and at home. These were purchased for light but constant duty and are comfortable right out of the box. I'm thrilled to find shoes made in the USA. I do run, and when I do I have found Brooks to be a better fit for me. I have not tried to run in these, so I can't comment on their performance for that purpose. For what I use them for you can't beat the price.
