Great Helmet awesome audio By DiaXon from Darien, IL on 09/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easily Adjustable, Great Peripheral Vision, Headphone Compatible, Lightweight, Protective, Well Ventilated Cons: Not as soft as expected Best Uses: Downhill, Half Pipe, Park, Skiing, Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good Helmet. The size of the helmet fits well. I had to get XXL cause I have a bigger head. there was room for extra space and came with 2 additional pads to place in if u want. I wish it was softer. A fully removable liner would've been great. Hard cause of the speakers. The one touch push button to mute on the one ear is great. It's mostly a white helmet which is slightly lame, but I can place decals on it.
Safety, Style, Superior Sound By Running Mom from Rexburg, ID on 04/11/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easily Adjustable, Great Peripheral Vision, Headphone Compatible, Lightweight, Protective, Stylish Best Uses: Downhill, Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Though this helmet was designed for men, I purchased a smaller size and have found it to be a good fit and quite functional for a woman. I especially like the integrated mute button on the helmet. The sound quality is excellent, and the built-in speakers are a welcome change to headphones or earbuds. Great product!
By Mr. B from Kansas/Colorado on 04/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easily Adjustable, Great Peripheral Vision, Lightweight, Protective Best Uses: Downhill, Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: First of all, I have a huge head, and this was the only helmet I could find. I wear a size 8 fitted hat, and the 2xl helmet fits me, but not by much. I may have to make a a few modifications to make it more comfortable, but overall I can't complain. Looks good, the headphone setup is great because you can still here people around you, and the comfort level is just fine. A good quality product at a great price.
By benzh from Memphis on 03/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Peripheral Vision, Headphone Compatible, Lightweight, Protective, Well Ventilated Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great deal on this helmet. I was looking for a helmet that had built in speakers for my ipod. Using an ipod with earbuds was frustrating, they kept falling out. With the RED helmet and built in speakers that problem is solved. When you consider $8-10/day rental fees for helmets, it's a simple decision to go on and buy your own...and get the built in speakers as well.
I used the measurement guidelines and I would suggest that your order a size larger than is indicated. For example, I ordered a Large and a XL might be slightly better for me.
