By ItchyRichy from Boston, MA on 09/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Water Resistant Best Uses: Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes to replace my 4 year old Merrell Chameleon shoes that I loved but finally wore out. The Raichle shoes fit nicely (I went a half size larger as recommended) and initially were very stiff but broke in quickly over the course of a couple of days. I am ooking forward to several years of use out of these!

By beatles1030 from Seattle, WA on 09/13/2009 Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: when I go downhill, my toes will cruch the front of the shoes and make uncomfortable. and size is a little bit too loose. I wear 10 normally, but this shoes I think I should wear 9 1/2. Otherwise, this is a good shoes.
Well built. Narrow in the forefoot. By STE from Albany, NY on 06/20/2009 Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Well built and sturdy but, as others have mentioned, narrow in the forefoot (this works fine for me). Also I agree with others that suggested these require some breaking-in prior to trail use.

By Pete from Doylestown, PA on 05/18/2009 Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm returning the product because despite reading reviews that the shoes were true to size, they were at least a half if not a full size too small. This is why I won't buy shoes online anymore.

By gypsydavey from Buffalo, NY on 03/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The english size 11.5 is a roomy 12, which happens to be just what I need. Sole is stiffish, which is entirely appropriate for walking rough trails. It has a very secure feel on the foot even though it is a low shoe. I haven't stressed it yet, nor worn it in the rain.
