By Kukui from Maui, HI on 08/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The best thing about these boots is that they are comfortable and light weight. The fit was on the large side for me, so do not order up a size. I would wear these on day hikes, but not off trail or for backpacking trips, as it is not too supportive around the foot. If you need something sturdy, these boots are not for you. If you're looking for a casual boot for on-trail day hiking, these would be great.
Raichle Gore tex exploreere hikking boot By carasel from Montesano, WA on 07/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The boots were perfect for my climb up Mt ST Helens this june. There was quite alot of snow, and my feet stayed dry and warm the whole trip. i never got any blisters or sore spots on my feet, and i would recomend wearing a sock linner and whool socks. I Have no complaints about the boots.
