This brand is no exception. The fact that shoes are unisex makes it even worse. Order half to full size down.

As a shoe they run wider than normal so take that into consideration. I have a wider foot so I just got my normal size. I've already gotten several compliments.

I wear US size 7 1/2 and got both a 5 and a 5 and 1/2 because all the agonizing spooked me. I cannot tell the differnce between them--they both fit fine, and I will keep both for the years ahead. However, I DO have wider feet because I have never, since childhood, allowed my feet to get crammed into anything too narrow. If you have narrow feet, these would fit like socks on a rooster. However, they are great for me.
I got some low black athletic socks to wear inside the boot--the fabric is a little stiff--but my plan is to wear just with tights once fully broken in. But from the first day I have been able to put them on and just walk out the door in them--comfortable, good support, nice-looking. They don't look like seconds to me! I see no flaws.

Do buy a LOT smaller than you think! I am a size 8 - 8.5 Women's and I bought size 6.5 as that is what I could understand from the write up I should get, and was drowning in it. I would exchange for 5.5 or 5 even, but decided to exchange for another boot as I was worried about the cut not fitting well even at smaller size. But that's not a design flaw, that's how these boots work, but this particular model was new to me.
