By Discouraged customer from Ma. on 08/11/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Sierra web site advises ordering half size larger than normal. This causes boot to be way too large.
These boots were clearly seconds. Boot sole rubber material was spilled on leather and wiped off leaving a rubber spot on leather. Other boot had tears in leather.
Product itself looks good and durable but I returned them for replacement because of the defects.

By Jan with smiles from Portsmouth, RI on 07/08/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Stable Best Uses: Wet Weather, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm using these boots as a work boot on a farm in New England, it was wonderful not to have wet feet. I have to wear them with a thick sock. If I was going to wear them to knot around in, I think I would have gone with a whole size smaller. They are easy on and off, and that was what I was looking for. They have a wide toe area. I think they will be my last pair of work boots for the farm.
By kingston from greenville, sc on 06/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Stylish Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: these boots are great. I use them for work and will probably wear them out to. I normally wear a 7.5-8 womens and I ordered a AUS 5. They run about 1.5 sizes to big. Size 5 fit me perfect. Takes about a day to break them in. very comfortable.
Great boots, careful with sizing! By Desert Mum from SLC, UT on 06/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Weather, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Friend in NZ recommended these boots because they last forever. They look indestructible, but they are a little big, even though I ordered a half size down from my regular size. Will use thick socks. My instep is unusually high, so they were a little tight pulling on, but not uncomfortable.
Not a good shoe for women. By Mountain Girl from Hartsdale, NY on 06/17/2009 Cons: Too Stiff, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These are advertised as mens/womens. Don't believe it. These shoes are not cut for a woman's feet. They feel stiff, and too big in all the right places, and too small in all the wrong places. Not made for women.
By City Walker from Chicago on 06/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Glad that I paid attention to the sizing comments in the reviews of Blundstone- they are quite different in sizing than US/European styles. Be ready for a bit of experimentation. I wear 7.5/39 W and a 5 in these seemed a bit roomy but a 4.5 was too small overall- however, the extra width means no special stretching to accomodate the bunion! That said, this is a great boot! Clearly durable, well-made, and a classic style. It will do well in our slushy winter streets, so I went for a second pair.

My 9 year old son wears his all summer long with shorts and wading in the creek catching crawdads and exploring.
I can wear my expedition weight socks with them in the winter.
