I'm 5'5 115 lbs and they were much too much for me. The padding stuck out behind my rear-end and I had to waddle. Good thing my mom wanted them or I would have had to return!

Perhaps these are designed for a taller woman; I am just 5'1". Otherwise the fabric and padding are great for me. I prefer well-padded shorts, so I don't mind the bulk from the padding. I bicycle for an hour a day 3 days a week.
