The padding is very good, a bit large but that is what I needed because my chaffing was occuring at a place where other bike shorts wasn't covering.

I am sometimes self conscious about my thighs and don't like to wear things that are too short, so I was worried about the 6" inseam, but I really like the length.

Great padding and comfortable waist. I love these shorts.

The stitching at the edge seams in the padding was not well done and resulted in a lot of discomfort. The amount of padding was adeqaute, but the irritation from the seams was enough to not want to wear them again!
I would not recommend these shorts.

I know these particular shorts are not design for sailing but they sure help protect the tush.

This short is very comfortable for long rides (30+ mi.). Padding covers all vital areas well without shifting. Elastic leg seams stay in place. Really, I have no complaints. Fabric is thin enough for warm weather, and isn't transparent. I like these so much I just ordered a second pair.
