I needed a breathable green shirt for my VBS leaders, it worked ok, but was disappointed in the one w/ pulls. Expensive for damaged goods.

Long enough Jersey
By kc-tri from atlanta, GA on 05/28/2009
Pros:
Lightweight
Best Uses:
Mountain Biking, Road Racing

Sizing:
Feels true to size

Comments:
I bought this for my boyfriend who can never find bike jersey's long enough. He is really happy with the fit (it is a trim fit) and the light material. We live in the humid south--that is important. Rust color is a little off from the picture--way more orange.

Comments:
I find this fabric to be un-fit to wear next to the skin. It smells bad brand new, so I can only imagine what it smells like sweating in it. I don't buy cycling jerseys often, and have not for 10 yeas, but if this is indicative of what they've become, I'll start wearing wool. For hot weather, I'll stick to cotton shirts. Yes, cotton has gotten a bad rap for any athletic activity. The synthetic promoters want you to believe you'll die of hypothermia for wearing it. Silly. As long as you're aware of it's limits and are conscious of what you're doing, it has it's place . In hot weather, which is all this Theorem jersey is good for anyways, cotton is fantastic and can keep you cooler. Synthetics don't have to be harsh or stink badly. I have some Pearl Izumi Kodiak Light jerseys that are comfortable and don't stink. My all time fav jersey was made form Swiss-Tex, long gone in this age of high-tech fabric. The fabric was looped on the inside(smooth outside), much like your favorite pair of Smartwool or other socks. It had incredible temperature range. Times change, but not always for the better. I would not recommend this jersey to anyone, but it would suit a plastic display model at a trade show.
