My only gripe is that, while it came marked as a Baden Powell Special Edition, it did not have a Rosewood reel seat - the reel seat was a satin black that looked just like the rest of the rod. I guess that's not really a big deal on such a lovely rod, but if they're going to advertise exotic hardwoods, then it should have just that. Otherwise, a great value - you will love this rod!

I generally fish for trout in streams with a few lakes when I can. I usually go after trout but recently have started fly fishing for Bass and use this same rod. I have caught fish up to 10 pounds on it with ease. I love the sensitivity of this rod! When you catch small fish it feels like it's a big fish, when you have a big one on it's just amazing! This is only the 2nd rod I have owned, first one was just a cheapo but once I knew fly fishing was for me I bought a better rod and this one caught my eye. As for any cons, I have none.
