By clor from Champlin, MN on 11/03/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Waterproof, WINDPROOF Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I absolutely love this jacket but it was difficult locating a SM. When I did, I should have bought two. That was two years ago when Joe's had it on clearance. The new models now have heavy canvas instead of the polyester material, adding more unnecessary weight. The front zipper was also too long causing the lower part of jacket to constrict and restrict leg movement when there's a few birds in the back pouch. Love the under-arm ventilation zipper.
By Back from Wings of Thunder! from Used in SD on 10/22/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Bird Hunting, Upland birds Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used jacket for pheasant hunting. Was very satisfied. My buddy had a Browning jacket and this one was superior except for the sleeves don't come off for a vest. I would have like more pockets for stuff like shooting glasses.
Allagash 2009 - Proven Very Worthy ! ! ! By Zanderon from Monticello, NY on 10/05/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is worth every cent at retail price. I just got back from a 3 day grouse hunt in the Allagash of Northern Maine. 3 days of miserable wet and cold that this jacket helped me get through. Absolute pleasure to wear, cut big and roomy. Boo-whoo, no shell loops.. You shouldn't have to carry more than 5 shells anyway. Zander-on! Images shared by: ZanderonColumbia Jacket & Pants from Sierra Trading Post. By Pete the Hunter from Great Falls, VA on 08/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Nice Look Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is only the shell. It has a zipper for the inner fleece lining described but does not come with it. I even called customer service prior to purchase to make sure not just a shell. For a shell, quite nice.
