I was hesitant to order the L(12-14) because I am a size 14 and I thought it may be small. I wear flat knits (not bulky sweaters) and this coat fits like a glove. The cut and length is extremely flattering. Can't wait to wear it with leggings and boots, jeans or tailored trousers. It definitely has an urban edge, which is perfect for the Windy City.

It's lined with fleece which makes it cozy and is light which makes it perfect for fall and spring as well. I think it'd be good in winter too, with a sweater or vest and a scarf! It's very well made and smooth and modern-looking!

I left it at La Guardia when I got on the plane and I've missed it ever since. I travel 13 - 16 weeks a year and the simple style fits into any occassion or place, from mushrooming in the California Sierras to seeing a Broadway show.
By lerual from NY on 07/07/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased a Royal Robbins jacket several years ago and I have been extremely pleased with it. I saw this coat and immediately purchased it in both colors. They are fabulous! The fit is great, material is top notch and detail is lovely. The sleeves have a bit of extra length to them. I wear a size small and purchased a small which fits perfectly! The coat has a light lining so it can be worn in cool to moderately cold weather.
