Untested fleece looks nice! I can't rate it because it's summer and I've not used the jacket yet.
Best Columbia fleece I've owned By John the Trudger from Saint Louis, MO (formerly Seattle) on 07/31/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket has sparked my desire for Autumn. Pouring coffee from a thermos while sitting on the edge of a cliff...this jacket is it! Unfortunately I can't give a true account of usage, since it's still Summer. But, to help others who are considering this jacket, I will say that this jacket will likely get more wear than either of my two North Face Windwall's, mainly due to the 2-way arm pit zippers, and heftier feel. I believe it is at least 30% more in weight. The cut is semi-athletic, unlike the typical bulky Columbia fleece. If you often find yourself getting a size larger in, say, a cotton sweatshirt due to shrinkage, then do the same with this, because it'll likely fit the same as if it had shrunk to your size. Awesome jacket for the price! By Mark from Raleigh, NC on 07/15/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A solid, well-built jacket. Constructed from heavier, more dense fleece than similar jackets. Looks great. Features pit zips, functional zipper pulls, cuffs at the sleeve openings. This jacket would be a good deal at twice the price.
Keep your fancy logos off of me By OfficialSummiteer from Seattle, WA on 07/13/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Simplistic, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Unlike many big-brand, latte drinking outdoors folk, I enjoy good deals and brands that can hit the mark without the brand image markup. Columbia has always met this requirement. The build of the jacket is great. No loose threads and has a very stubborn, sturdy feel to it, which a windstopping fleece should. I'm 6' 160lbs and a medium fits me almost too perfectly. The color is fantastic--not in your face nor dull--and it not only stops the wind, but even repels water surprisingly well. It's a steal as is, but from SierraTP it's a ridiculous steal.
Ditch the Arc'Koolaid and tust the Oregonians.

Excellent Product - good quality By Outdoor Fishing Guy from Seattle WA on 07/11/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Cut, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Well-made jacket that should be durable over time. The term "windproof" is a bit of a stretch but it's certainly very wind-resistant. For a change, the website pictures don't do the colors justice - the product actually looks better than the pictures might imply. I'm flirting with the idea of buying two..........
Nice jacket for much cooler weather By iowa head colorado heart from iowa on 07/06/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: used this at night when we were base camping in Colorado - temps were 40-50 degrees - plenty warm - I think with a light baselayer this jacket would be good for much cooler weather than that - definitely windproof- you cannot beat the price for a windproof jacket although it is quite heavy.
By LimboJim from Hadley, MA on 06/24/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: STP should send these out months rather than days after we receive the goods. How am I supposed to know how durable it is less than a week after getting it?
