By Fallen Season from New Englad on 10/21/2009 Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These seem like nice gloves for their intended purpose, so I'll be kind and give them 5 stars. However, a word of warning is in order: the thumb (incorrectly referred to as an index finger in the product description) on the left glove features a "goggle wipe" -- a not so subtle triangular prism constructed of rubber (similar to those pencil grippers, though not quite as large). An outline of the goggle wiper is visible in the "alternate view" image, but none of the images fully expose the object). You probably won't want these gloves if you don't intend to use that feature.
Columbia Sportswear Whirlibird Gloves By Jallard from Portland, OR on 10/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Grip, Snug Fit Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Portland OR - Rain Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Well, I tried them on and they fit. As for how they function I don't know yet. Here in Portland, OR it rains a lot in the winter: so, you need insulated waterproof/wind resistant garments. However, in February of 2010 I will be in Southwestern Vermont where it tends to get below freezing and it snows --sometimes a lot. After that I can comment even more.
