She loved it! This jacket fit her well and it looks snazzy, too. I don't know how the technical aspects of the jacket work, though. Definitely feels like the fabric on the sleeves would have some wind/rain shedding features. I think it would work well in a light rain and would be a good outer layer on it's own in 55-plus weather or as an outer shell with a mid layer for cooler days/activities.
Just what I was looking for! By bornhiker from Salt Lake City, UT on 10/29/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Lightweight, Warm, Well Made Best Uses: Casual day use, Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this for hiking and then switch the shorts out for a casual skirt and wear the jacket again. Love the lightweight and soft, yet warm, feel. Sleeves are long enough for me. I'm tall and long. I'm an 8-10 and 5'9" and the Medium is perfect. I just ordered another in the Tundra color. You can't go wrong with this jacket!
