By Backpacker from PA on 08/23/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't purchased a bad Columbia product yet, and these were no exception. Very lightweight, breathable and comfortable. Hard to believe they're 100% cotton (I had to check the tags, as they seemed too lightweight). Would definitely buy again!

Comfortable, durable, nice hand By Kayakguru from Athens, GA on 08/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just bought my second pair of these. The fit is very good, and the texture of the fabric is pleasing. These are fairly light, so I'm not sure they're up to serious hiking, but I'll wear them with a coat and tie to meetings. The just returned from 10 days on the road looking fine. TWO back pockets plus an extra zippered side security pocket are everything I need.

By like Columbia from Milwaukee on 08/04/2009 Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Visit Columbia website before buying Columbia here. Found out the hard way STP's description does not include cloth ounce rating. Don't assume it is what you would expect a khaki pant to be.
By Jimmy Crackcorn from Charlotte, NC on 07/28/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The pants have an extremely comfortable fit and fabric. They also have a zippered pocket for small objects, that could fall out when you sit down. They are excellent for any situation in which there is little chance of snagging the fabric.
By Tumpy from Decatur, Georgia on 07/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are very comfortable pants of light weight material. The pant leg zipper pocket is almost unnoticeable, unobtrusive yet useful. The pant length seems to be just a little longer than your average 32" but not objectionable. Because of the light weight material, I can't imagine that these pants would hold up well in the outdoors. But they are great for casual wear. These pants do "crinkle" when washed, so be prepared for ironing if you want them to look off the shelf.
Comfortable, versatile sport pants By Rich from New York, NY on 07/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore these pants on a hike on a hot day, and they were very comfortable. They look like khaki but are lightweight and are a great alternative if you don't want to wear shorts. They are easy to pack, and because they dry quickly, it's easy to wash them out in a sink while traveling.
