I have bought these pants twice now By Jon from Cincinnati, OH on 06/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good pants at a great price. They seem well-made. Inseam is inconsistent between the 2 pair I bought, but a quick hem fixes that. Will look for them again.
By spud head from Idaho on 06/25/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Packable Cons: Poor Material or Construction Best Uses: Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: not great after laundry, wrinkles for town use.
By sam from Denton TX on 06/18/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Somewhat lightweight (great for summer) and very well made, like most clothing from Columbia. Great value at STP price, even after the cost of altering the length to fit my short legs.
By P J Tramdack from New Castle, PA on 06/17/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are very good pants and a good value. They are discreet enough to wear to the office but practical for travel or camping too. I got a pair and when I saw how good they are I immediately ordered a second pair. There are two zip pockets on the right leg (one behind the right standard trouser pocket and a vertical zip second pocket below that) which are handy for glasses, cell, etc., but that don't make you look like Crikey the Alligator Hunter. The cotton fabric is peached so it is soft and comfortable.
Lightweights, but they'll do.. By golfer3524 from San Bernardino, CA on 06/15/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Work pants Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Columbia sizing (36)has always fit me great. STP's great low price caused me to buy several pair as replacements for heavier denim. Naturally, they aren't made for welding in, but day to day fix-it stuff in a warmer climate is ideal for me. Much more comfort and "move-ability" than jeans. Casual wear is a plus. This material isn't as heavy as Columbia's Lander pants, and looks more like a twill than canvas.
By Shramphus from New York, NY on 06/10/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A little too tight, for my taste.

Light, breathable, packable, good fit and Columbia quality. Extra security pocket - great idea!
By Fisherman from Utah on 05/06/2009 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Tight fit for an action pant, otherwise good quality. Would be much better with a little more room in seat and a longer rise. If you're slender for your waist size, you will like them.
