Good deal for the price
By IceCylist from North Dakota on 11/17/2009
Pros:
Lightweight, Wind Resistant
Cons:
Poor Ventilation

Comments:
Despite mesh venting on the back it still traps lots of moisture during a 5 mi. bike commute in 25 degree weather. Layered over a wicking top it's fine. Price is great.

I like the weight and the storage into its own packable pocket for hiking. The only disadvantage might be the see through of anything worn under it.

I wear this over jackets, other clothes and is perfect for putting on for a bike ride in the fall and winter. Doesn't look ugly! Really love the hideable hood! I wish it had stretch, but this is my first windbreaker, so how should I know?!

Comments:
This jacket is not insulated or lined, so it's perfect for layering but not perfect if you want a warm jacket by itself. I ordered my usual size and like that it's loose enough to fit a fleece jacket underneath comfortably, but not so loose that it restricts movement. I love the zippered pockets and stowaway hood. It rained the night I received it (what luck!) and I can tell you it does keep wetness off you as advertised. I'm keeping this jacket forever and ever and only wish there were some reflective accents somewhere for night cycling. Sigh.

I was so pleased with the speedy arrival of my jacket, and the great price. It's very lightweight. I'm 5'10", and the sleeve length was perfect in the Large, just as I like it. I would say it's true to size. It's very lightweight, perfect for fall nights here in Southern California.
