Totally not as advertised By Indy Athlete from Indianapolis, IN on 02/24/2009 Cons: Bulky, Heavy, Poorly Made Describe Yourself: High-end shopper, Stylish Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: First off, I ordered this robe #1. It is huge but that's OK. I wanted floor-length (I'm 5'9"). Definitely made for guys but I didn't buy it for beauty. I purchased a small and it would have fit a 300 lb, 6' guy. But that was OK. Within 2 days it totally shredded at the collar. I have no idea why but it looked TERRIBLE, even for a man-ish big robe. I really liked the length, so I returned it and thought I'd also try an XS. They sent me another one- and while it was the same brand- it was a TOTALLY DIFFERENT ROBE. Knee-length (probably 15" shorter), cheaper terry cloth. Not at all what I wanted. I just returned it and asked for my money back. I've bought a LOT from STP and this was by far the worst.
When the time comes I would buy it again By Stach from Australia on 02/16/2009 Describe Yourself: High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Excellent colour, comfortable with ample "envelope". Good price-quality ratio.
By Paco from Newport, RI on 02/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Soft, Well Made Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Size XXL not enough length or width to cover 6'3" 245lb frame comfortably.
By Red Leader from Fort Worth, Texas on 01/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Soft, Thick, Warm & Cozy, Well Made Best Uses: After Baths, Cool Nights, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the robe. It's comfortable and when sitting on the couch on cold nights, it's like having a comforter. Besides, it's a very good looking robe and why wouldn't I want to wear it.
Not at all what the description says By LC from Reno, NV on 01/20/2009 Pros: I didn't like it at all Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It claims it is soft luxurious and 60 inches long. It is bulky, it is not soft and it is just below the knee, a far cry from floor length and it is ugly.
By Just Me from Bishop, CA on 01/14/2009 Cons: Not very thick or soft, XS drags the ground Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: OK,I am only 5'3", but the XS robe drags the ground by a good four inches. Ditto with the sleeve length. It was even too big for my husband, who generally take a size large. Also, fabric was not as "thick luxurious" as other reviewers had indicated. Disappointed and will return.
nice fabric but not fitted By Little Woman from Pullman, WA on 01/12/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been looking for a robe made of terry with loops that will not pull out. The fabric is wonderful and what I have been wanting. However, as a unisex robe, there is little fit. It has strait seams, no tailoring and the sleeves are long for this little woman. I ordered XS and it is roomy. In woman's clothing, I wear a small or medium size. If this is you, by all means order XS!
By Cricket from Oklahoma on 01/10/2009 Best Uses: After Baths, Cool Nights, Lounging, Pool & Spa Describe Yourself: Conservative, Practical Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It wasn't as "luxurious" as I was expecting and felt it was soarly overpriced (even on sale). I thought it was going to be really special and it was just a typical heavy duty terrycloth robe sized more for men than for women.
By still looking for a nice robe from Los Angeles on 01/04/2009 Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought an XS and it was so large that my 6'3" 180lb. husband could wear it! It was described in the catalog as being 51" long, but really it is 60" and very generous in all other proportions. Lovely robe, but for giants only.
