By CG from Tulsa, OK on 03/30/2009 Describe Yourself: Recreational Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Pros:
Lots of volume for the price, weight.
The mesh next your body helps keep the pack in place.
Ample belt can be trimmed to fit.
Panel entry gives easy access to main compartment.
Cons:
Belt pockets are pretty useless since the belt runs over the pocket.
Side pockets have a flap covering the zip that is very hard to open or close. I think I'll just cut them off.
Unlike the photo, my copy has the front end of the top straps sewn to the face of the pack so they cross the zipper of the main compartment. You have to undo them to open the pack! I will cut them off and resew them.
My copy weighs 21oz, not 19oz.
