Great shoes at a great price By WalktheHills from Three Rivers, CA on 11/13/2009 Pros: Attractive design, Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, so even walking dogs means a walk on hilly terrain and rough roads. Walking shoes don't cut it here. These are perfect! They have great support and stability.

By h-dog from colorado on 10/17/2009 Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: these shoes have caused some pain on the top of my foot as they feel kind of tight from bottom to top. i tried loosening the shoe laces but it still bothers me a bit and i can only loosen them so much or i won't have support. otherwise, they feel comfortable. i have med/high arches, so i have to wear my own orthotic as the arches aren't very high in these. but that's true for all of my shoes.
they feel sturdy, have good traction and look great.

I'm buying my second pair since my first ones are finally worn out after two years. I run in them in the city, hike long day-hikes in the Colorado mountains all summer long...plus they're good-looking I must say. I'm definitely a devoted Vasque fan!

Good quality, light yet sturdy By desperately seeking hiking sneakers! from Santa Fe, NM on 09/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am looking for a good quality, lightweight hiking sneaker to use occasionally on hikes with my school-aged son. These are good looking, not too bulky with good support. The orange is particularly fun for the summer. Unfortunately for me, it was hard to fit as I was between two sizes. The toe box seemed a bit wide in the larger size, although not as much as in some other brands I have tried. Although wide at the toebox, the shoe was not too wide at the instep. If you can get the right fit, I'd say it is a good shoe.
By d from San Francisco, CA on 09/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just got these for my gf for our Half Dome hike. She didn't have time leading up to break them in, but they performed remarkably - no blisters, plenty of room in the toe box, and secure. Good traction except on a few slippery 60 degree pitched granite faces, but that'd be asking too much now wouldnt it. A steal at the sale price!
