The optional foam box holds 4 inserts that can be switched into the clear case very easily. I find this a great addition to the Scientific Angler System X.

I purchased one of each so this one is serving as my chironomid box/lake box. One side is holding my Midges/Chironomids/indicator/weight and the other my buggers and other big flies.
