By Mtn Hack from Ft Collins CO on 10/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Compact, Easy To Use, Good Weight, Sharp Blade Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Day Trips, River Trips, Road Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the carabiner/bottle opener, but the overall quality is not quite up to the level of the E306. The open assist lever has too much play so does not function as well as on the E306, which opens easily, without fail. Worth Sierra Trading prices, but not MSRP.
By Chippewa Lady from Kennewick, WA. on 09/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Compact, Durable, Easy To Use, Good Weight, Sharp Blade, Versatile Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Day Trips, Survival Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just returned from a camping/Jeeping trip and used my new knife for the first time. I couldn't be happier with it! I especially like the clip it came with so I can attach the knife to my belt loop. Very well constructed. I won't be without it from now on.
Great Quality At A Miniscule Price By Gamma Guy from Lafayette, La. Sportsman's Paradise on 09/28/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Sharp Blade Best Uses: Everyday useGifts Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't had a chance to use it much, but it seems to be up to Leatherman standards..A bit too bulky/heavy for my intended wear on Scrub Pants pocket but not enough to prohibit...I ordered 5 and will probably order more...Unbeatable as gifts/reward/Stocking Stuffer..Great product at a fraction of it's value...
By cramersec from Athens, GA on 09/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Durable, Easy To Use, Sharp Blade Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Day Trips, River Trips, Road Trips, Survival Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The only thing that kept me from giving this knife 5 stars is it's weight, which, to be honest, is not that heavy. Great edge, easy one-hand opening, clips to a pocket and disappears until you need it. This is my second one, in case i lose the first.
a bit heavy, but well made By mdm from the Southwest USA on 09/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Easy To Use, Sharp Blade Best Uses: Daily use carry Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good price on a nice knife. A bit big and heavy for pocket carry without the clip, but positive action & lock and nice blade.

Well balanced and comfortable in the hand. The combo straight/serrated blade is very versatile and holds an edge for a long time.
