By Smitdog from Tennessee on 06/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Durable, Easy To Use, Sharp Blade, Versatile Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Day Trips, River Trips, Road Trips, Survival Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very sharp, nice brown leather sheath, screwdriver works well, one handed open, it's pretty heavy and kinda big but if it had pliers it would be perfect. The new Leatherman Skeletool(sp) may be the one to have but this one is great if you don't think you'll need pliers.
By Climbhigh from NJ on 06/14/2009 Pros: 154 blade holds up well, Comfortable Grip, Durable, Easy To Use, Good Weight, Sharp Blade, Versatile Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Blade is heavy duty, Campgrounds, Day Trips, River Trips, Road Trips, Survival Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It is a great hiking tool cliped to your backpack.
You will never find a 154CM blade at this price.I have a Griptilian with a 154CM blade, but, I like the broader spear point on this model better. I like having the interchangeable screw bit feature.
Too heavy as an everyday carry knife, but, it has great utility for everything else.
