By JP from AK from Copper River Basin, Alaska on 07/07/2009 Pros: Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used this bag for 3 weekend-overnight rafting trips. All of the contents remained dry. The bag remained so air tight my smelly boots made a bit of a stink in the bag!! I do wish I had bought a larger bag. This won't fit your average size sleeping bag, but a backpacking sleeping bag will definitely fit, along with a couple changes of hiking clothing, and still a bit of extra room. I think the air-release nozzle is a great feature to help make the contents more compact (giving the ability to squeeze out all the air without opening the top of the bag, then trying to roll it back up without letting more air back in!).
By kathi from huntingdon, pa on 06/24/2009 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Best Uses: Paddling, Sailing Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Clothes and sleeping bag stayed dry in this bag as it sat in water in the back of a kayak. Liked how it can be compressed using ari valve and it can also be used as a pillow of sorts by inflating.
