By Tar Heel Trailblazer from Asheville, NC on 06/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these Keens to use for my off-trail adventures. After owning and wearing out Keen Targhees for the past 4 years, I decided it was time for a change. The sole seems a little stiffer than the Targhees were, and that should make them better suited for backpacking and long day hikes. They're also a little lighter and the off-set lacing defintely reduces pressure points. So far, so good.

They have good traction/grip. I have not had them long but their lightweight comfort is making them my favorite hiking boots/shoes. Have not tried them on concrete for daily use, but I have other shoes for that.

I would buy this product again By Forest Jogger from Whitehorse, YT on 05/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Cons: Toe narrows in too much Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these trail running shoes for jogging through forest trails and often for walking around town. They are very comfortable. The toe of these runners narrow in more than the toes on the other eleven pair of Keen footwear I own. The wide rounded toe is the main reason the Keen footwear fits me so well and is so comfortable.

And it is very nice to have a pair of running shoes which are not white. Normally running shoes look like a mix between a spaceship and a polar bear.
