Terrific Boot - Excellent Price By Bessie from Hudson Valley, NY on 11/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shoe supports well; it is a v. comfortable walking shoe. I buy my athletic shoes 1/2 size larger than street shoes for thicker socks. I did so for these shoes & the fit is perfect. No ankle support with a low cut shoe, so these I wear them on the rail trail walks & around town. Highly recommended shoe & super price with coupon!

By Problem Feet from Alliance, OH on 11/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes before going on a 3-day backpacking trip to the Canyonlands National Park, UT. I knew there would be steep climbs, rocks and sand to deal with. I've had lots of recent feet issues- a sprained ankle a few months ago and two years of dealing with plantar fasciitis. I didn't think any shoes would feel "comfortable", but these shoes got me through three intense days of hiking. My only problem was that I should have gone a half size larger. With the steep downhills, one toe took a beating against the front of the shoe. Overall, I was VERY happy with the shoes-- GREAT traction, good stability, warm and dry- and comfortable!

By hard to fit feet from Pennsylvania on 11/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I could not tighten the laces enough to keep my heel down. They may work in a higher boot. Did not work for my narrow heel.
Best everyday hiker I own! By On the go! from Canojaharie,New York on 10/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great support, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Its a great overall everyday hiker. I don't need to use my orthotic inserts with Keen shoes. The width of Keen shoes are a little wider than your average shoe, which provides more forefoot room as I require. Great support and comfort. Love Keen shoes and sandals, wear well.
Just what I needed at a reasonable price By lilcarrot007 from Bend, OR on 10/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great shoe overall. Knowing that Keen's tend to run small I went with a half size larger = great fit! As with any waterproof shoe, you get warm quick and when it's not that cold out, your feet may tend to sweat. Not disappointed, and would buy again.
