Simply just a great boot!!! By Sandra from Belfeld, the Netherlands on 08/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I saw these boots on this website; I simply had to have them! I love Keen, but unfortunately it is not easy to buy this brand over here in the Netherlands. [...] Because of the warning "runs small, order 1 size up", I ordered 1 size up. Just to be sure, since I'd rather have a shoe a bit too large than too small. To me, ordering 1 size up seems not necessary; they now are indeed just a bit too big. I have EU-size 40 and ordered US-size 10. But no problem, I can solve it with very thick socks! But next time I will order just my size or maybe only 1/2 a size larger. Further, this is really a nice looking boot! Warm, cosy and sporty!

Unfortunately very hard to obtain over here in the Netherlands. [...] Since the article mentioned "runs small, order 1 size up", I did. Like some other buyers/reviewers also mentioned, to me ordering 1 size up seems unnecessary. I have size EU40 and ordered US10. Now the boot is a bit too large; but fortunately this can be solved with a very thick sock. However, if it weren't such a fuss to order again, I would order my normal size as well. Next time I will definitely just order my normal size. Further, this is just a really nice, warm and sporty boot. I love it!

By the all weather adventurer from birmingham, al on 08/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: easy fit with wool socks, especially ski socks. no need for gaiters, but would use a tie up boot if doing more backcountry work as fit is a little loose due to casual styling.

By rtzptut from Charlottesville Va on 07/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Theses are "keenstyle" broad in the toe box. Maybe too much so lending to the aforementioned Ronald McDonald loook to them but I don't care. Side zipper makes me wonder if you stood in a puddle if water would run in the zippered area. Saving them for visiting my daughter above Boston in the snow. Primary use sledding etc.
They are shorter than they appeared in the picture. Ordering a half size up is good for big fluffy socks.
Another great shoe by keen By jd from fl on 06/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just got these boots and I live in Fl (it is june) so have not been able to try them out. However I have walked around the house and they appear to be very comfortable and warm.As with all my keens I ordered 1/2 size larger. They have a side zipper that makes it easy to get in and front laces in case you want to tighten the fit. I bought them for outside work and pleasure in the winter(it does get down in the teens occasionally)They appear to be very well made. I checked on other sites for reviews before buying them and these boots had a lot of good reviews.
Can't say enough good things about them By Outdoor Adventure Lover from Michigan on 06/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in Michigan and love these boots. I actaully paid full price on another site 2 winters ago and my daughter and I fight over the one pair, so I am getting a second pair at half price today. These boots are great. Easy on/off, lightweight, no uncomfortable/rubbing spots inside, very waterproof, and warm. I call them my Ronald McDonald boots, I have the red, but still think they are cute and so functional who cares. I agree with the other customer, order your true size. I don't think they run small at all. I wear an 8, bought an 8, and have plenty of room for my heavy smartwool socks. Buy these boots!!!
Best of both worlds: warm and cute By hometown_honey from Wisconsin on 06/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just needed boots for everyday life during Wisconsin winters. These fit the bill for everyday use, out playing with the kids, or a trek to the mailbox. I love the look and they are very comfortable. I ordered a half size up and am very happy as they are big enough to accomodate a nice thick pair of socks, but not so big that I couldn't wear them with normal socks. I'll give 'em a good test for warmth this winter, but so far these are just what I was looking for.
By stazbryan from Northern California on 06/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought them after the snow was almost melted!! But, I wore the boots around the house and they seemed very comfortable. Plenty of room for my orthotics. Can't wait to try them in the snow. I did order a size larger than my normal based on the other reviews.
